Hi All, Henderson High School EVolcity team from Auckland here,
Just wondering if any school would like to upgrade to a 1kw motor in search of more power? We have a spare MY1020 motor (https://goo.gl/FGDif2) that is no longer needed and we are also wanting a few more entries in the open category.
The package will come with the motor (built in mount points) and 36v 1000w motor controller. We had to mill our own custom sprocket to fit the 10speed chain so no sprocket will be included as we have lost the original
Motor suits high RPM situations and is most powerful at peak RPM which is 3000 so a large rear sprocket is recommended (36t+) We used a 34t rear and 11t front to reach 35kmh before we ran out of room.
Price we are looking is $70 for motor and controller. Will overnight courier
